You will be contributing to a collaborative operational support team, ensuring that our remote camps operate smoothly. You will require strong organizational and teamwork skills, working in tandem with the other operations team members to keep the camp clean, well organized and supplied.
The role is located at our Rogue project, a fly-in, fly-out site approximately 400 km northeast of Whitehorse. You will be working on a rostered 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off, with field operations beginning in mid-May and continuing through to early October.
Start date: This is a seasonal role, starting in mid-May, 2025
Responsibilities
- A commitment to working safely, and adherence to Snowline Gold Corp’s health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work with the camp management, core processing, and geological teams to ensure the camp is adequately resourced for smooth operation.
- Ensure that equipment is regularly maintained and in good working order.
- Camp maintenance, loading and unloading planes.
- Other duties and field work as required.
Experience & Key Skills - Previous experience in mineral exploration or mining would be considered a benefit.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic mechanical, handywork or carpentry skills.

You will be responsible for the health and safety of the team, based at our remote exploration project in the east Yukon. Your role will be to manage Snowline’s health and safety program, whilst promoting a safety-focused culture of risk assessment and mitigation and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
The role is located at our Rogue project, a fly-in, fly-out site approximately 400 km northeast of Whitehorse. You will be working on a rostered 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off, with field operations beginning in mid-May and continuing through to early October.

Responsibilities
- Courageously lead the continuous development and implementation of Snowline’s Health and Safety Program.
- Ensure that all exploration activities are conducted safely and conform to all regulatory requirements.
- Support project leads in safe execution of activities through development of risk assessments, emergency response plans, inductions, inspections, and verifications.
- Develop and review Safe Work Procedures and contractor OHS documents for all exploration activities undertaken at the project.
- Coordinate, implement and manage relevant orientations, training and certifications for Exploration staff, contractors, and all personnel on site.
- Implement a program of verification and conduct regular safety inspections of crews and worksites.
- Maintain health and safety records, lead and manage incident reporting and investigations.
Experience & Key Skills
- A compelling track record of overseeing safe operations in mineral resource operations.
- A certificate, diploma or professional designation in Occupational Health and Safety would be considered an asset.
- The ability to communicate and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, roles, and seniority.
- Previous experience working with helicopters and on helicopter-supported drill programs will be considered an asset.
- Thorough understanding of relevant health and safety regulation.
- Competency with Microsoft Office software suite, and proficient English reading, writing, and verbal skills.

You will be contributing to a collaborative technical team, focused on safely exploring Snowline’s extensive land package. You will be working with the Chief Geologist and the technical team, assisting with data evaluation, preparing maps, sections, and internal reports. Senior Geologists will be based at our main Forks Camp, as part of Snowline’s primary drill program in eastern Yukon.
The role is located at our Rogue project, a fly-in, fly-out site approximately 400 km northeast of Whitehorse. You will be working on a rostered 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off, with field operations beginning in mid-May and continuing through to early October.

Responsibilities

- Geological mapping and sampling
- Assessment and evaluation of exploration targets.
- Compilation and preparation of geological maps, reports, sections, and figures.
- Coaching and mentoring of Junior Geologists
- Collaborate with the technical team to interpret geological data and develop exploration strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and permit requirements
- Present findings and recommendations to the technical team

Experience & Key Skills
- Experience as a field geologist with expertise in structural geology, geochemistry and geophysical techniques
- Expertise in geological mapping techniques and the ability to produce accurate and detailed maps
- Experience in GIS and geological modeling software.

You will be cutting and organising drill core samples from our regional exploration program for shipment to Whitehorse. Additional responsibilities include keeping the cut shack clean and organized, and general maintenance tasks around camp.

Introduction
Snowline Gold Corp (the Company) is a mineral exploration company with a focus on projects in the Yukon Territory, Canada. Snowline’s primary exploration and development project is the Rogue Project (the Project) approximately 220 km east of Mayo and 195 km north of Ross River near the Northwest Territories border, which hosts the Company’s Valley deposit. We aim to build a leading exploration and development company setting new standards in social and environmental responsibility.

Snowline is looking for an experienced mine development, engineering and studies lead with proven experience in the advancement of major projects to fulfil the role of Vice President of Engineering (VP Engineering).
Reporting to the CEO, the VP Engineering will play an integral role within the Snowline senior management team and in shaping the trajectory of the Company, with the ideal candidate having a primary residence in the Yukon Territory or Vancouver, British Columbia close to our corporate offices.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams through all phases associated with the advancement of the Project, including mine design, engineering, permitting and construction planning.
- Oversee the preparation of all technical studies, engineering design and reports.
- Prepare and review project engineering studies, design criteria, reports, plans and specifications as required.
- Negotiate and select third-party design, engineering and consulting agreements.
- Work with the Company leadership team to develop a project execution strategy, including key milestones, timelines and deliverables.
- Participate in and lead meetings with government entities, regulatory bodies, First Nations, external and internal stakeholders relating to the engineering, design and advancing the development of the project.
- Lead technology, innovation and sustainability initiatives that may inform mine design and development.
- Lead the development and successful integration of Company policies, standards and best practices for development state projects.
- Champion and promote a culture of continuous improvement regarding health, safety, operational efficiency and cost management.
Key Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 10-15 years’ progressive Engineering experience preferred.
- Designated Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia or equivalent considered an asset.
- Proven experience in the development of a major mining project from PEA stage through design, permitting, construction and into operation.
- Experience in open-pit mining, gold processing methods, and mine development in northern (cold weather) climates considered an asset.
- A strong understanding of project permitting, regulations and guidelines relevant to mine development in the Yukon Territory.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $150,000 – $300,000
- The salary range listed has been provided to comply with provincial regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We review compensation for each individual and base our offer on unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
